A fine pair of Chinese ivory vases and covers 19th century, each campana-shaped body raised on turned feet with stiff acanthus leaves and elaborately carved in high relief with many figures and horses amongst pagodas and rocky landscapes, the handles formed as scaly dragons, each cover with the knop formed as a dragon's head amidst clouds and surrounded by bands of scrolling foliage, some damage and small losses, 22.3cm.
