A CHINESE BRONZE ARCHAISTIC VASE, GU MING/QING DYNASTY With a broad rim and a flared foot, the body cast with four flanges, taotie masks and archaistic designs in relief on a key fret ground, 33.2cm, 1.6kg. Provenance: from the collection of Mark Dineley. Cf. R Kerr, Later Chinese Bronzes, pp.78-79 no.59 for a bronze gu of a similar form and size.
