His shoulders covered with a flowing robe, a circular halo behind his head and hair arranged in a chignon, his face with downcast eyes and a thin moustache, mounted on a later green plaster pillow-shaped base with gilded wood tassels, 46.5cm.
Provenance: purchased from William Clayton, Bury Street, London in the 1960s.
