A Japanese tanto 18th/19th century
A Japanese tanto 18th/19th century, the blade of unusual curved form with an irregular chogi, temper pattern to the inside of the curve, unsigned, mounted in a black lacquer scabbard fitted with Omori style brass fittings carved with waves, a similar shakudo and shibuichi tsuba, a good Goto school shakudo kozuka, signed, with a silk brocade bag, the blade 29cm.
