λ Five Chinese snuff bottles 19th/20th century, two decorated with kingfisher feathers, the others lacquer, one octagonal, painted with birds and surmounted by a fish, another gourd-shaped with panels containing a pagoda, the last formed as a vase painted with scrolling foliage, surmounted by a dog, 8cm max. (5)

Provenance: from the collection of the 2nd Viscount Bearsted, and thence by descent.
