A pair of rare Chinese Imari spittoons
A pair of rare Chinese Imari spittoons, zhadou Kangxi 1662-1722, the globular bodies painted in underglaze red, underglaze blue and gilt depicting figures seated at a table beside a rocky fenced garden, the necks with panels containing birds, fish and crabs on a diaper ground, and a Kangxi blue and white zhadou, painted with panels containing ladies in gardens and floral sprays, 16.6cm across max.
