Cf. D S Howard, Chinese Armorial Porcelain Vol. I, p.187. This service was made for Edward Harrison of Balls Park, Hertfordshire (1674-1732), who became Governor of Fort St. George in 1710. In 1719 he was MP for Weymouth, and in 1722 MP for the borough of Hertford.
