A pair of Chinese famille verte plates from the collection of Augustus the Strong Kangxi 1662-1722, each painted with a vase containing floral sprays of peony, chrysanthemum and prunus, each rim with a band containing prunus on a green ground, the reverse with artemesia leaf marks and Johanneum marks N:99 I, 21.5cm. (2)

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Augustus The Strong, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland.
