λ A rare Chinese inscribed champlevé enamel snuff bottle palace workshops Beijing 1736-95, decorated with blossoming prunus branches in black, blue, red, pink, yellow, green and white, the reverse with two lines of calligraphy from a poem written by the Qianlong emperor in black enamel which reads zui ai qing yin han shu dian mo chou lang ji luo cheng dui (you feel the loneliness just as falling plum blossom petals), 6.9cm.
