A fine Chinese bamboo bitong 18th century

A fine Chinese bamboo bitong 18th century, well carved in high relief with a narrative scene of figures before a bamboo grove, to one side pine, maple and other trees amongst rocks, the reverse with a small bridge over a mountain stream, with hardwood mounts to the foot and rim, 15.2cm high.

Provenance: from a titled English family in the New Forest.
