λ An unusual Chinese veneered bamboo caddy late 18th/early 19th century, each side applied with stained ivory in green, red and blue, depicting chrysanthemum, birds and insects, the hinged top with figures in a watery, mountainous landscape amidst pagodas and pine, the lock, hinges and handle silver, 23.5cm.
