A good Chinese zitan ruyi sceptre probably late Qing dynasty, the head inset with an agate plaque carved in relief as a lingzhi fungus, the shaft carved as a gnarled branch from which further fungi grow in malachite, turquoise, lapis lazuli and other hardstones, together with a fitted hardwood box, 40.5cm.
