A Chinese laque burgauté three tiered box probably 16th century, inlaid in mother of pearl, the cover with a scene of children playing beneath a flowering tree, the sides with further cartouche-shaped panels with children holding birds and fans and playing in gardens, all on a geometric cash-diaper ground, 24.8cm. (4)
