A rare Chinese small black lacquer stand or table Wanli 1573-1620, the shaped rectangular top onlaid with mother of pearl depicting birds in flight and perched upon blossoming peony branches issuing from rockwork, the apron with further blossoms above four scrolling legs raised on high feet and joined by a similarly shaped rectangular platform, 36cm x 32cm x 27cm.
