A RARE CHINESE PORCELAIN FIGURE OF A FOREIGNER

18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY

Possibly depicting a man from Southern Asia, the bearded figure kneels on a square cushion holding a string of beads to his chest, wearing a conical hat, a loincloth and an armband, with some areas painted in enamels and gilt, 10.2cm.
