A CHINESE SILVER 'FIVE DRAGON' TEAPOT

The ovoid body decorated in repoussé with two dragons in pursuit of a sacred pearl, one side set with a handle formed as a scaly dragon arching its back, with the head of a further beast disgorging the curved spout, all surmounted by a hinged cover with a finial shaped as the head of a coiled dragon, the base with a punch mark, 25.5cm, 594g.
