An unusual Yixing teapot and cover c.1700-25, the body richly carved to each side with a tribal-type figure holding the stem of a large lotus scroll that entwines around his body, seal mark to the base, a replacement metal spout, metal mount to the handle, 16.2cm. (2) Provenance: the Arthur J Harris collection.
