A good Yixing teapot and cover mid 18th century, the rectangular section body with curved sides, rising to a straight neckrim impressed with a cell border, the cover surmounted with a recumbent lion dog before a spinning brocade ball, the whole raised on a shaped footrim, a metal chain joining the cover finial to the handle, seal mark to the cover, 20.5cm. (2) Provenance: the Arthur J Harris collection.
