A CHINESE YAOZHOU CARVED 'PEONY' BOWL

NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY

The deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot, the exterior carved with two stylised leafy peony sprays, covered overall with a clear glaze of an olive-green tone suffused with a network of crackles, 10.7cm.
