A CHINESE JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE AND A GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

QING DYNASTY

Each of flattened rounded shape, the icy-green jadeite stone mottled with black patches, the larger glass snuff bottle with swirled apple-green and white irregular markings in imitation of jadeite, 4.9cm and 6.5cm. (2)

Together with a copy of the Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory Testing Certificate, certificate no.SJ115498, dated 11th May 2015, stating the natural colour of the jadeite snuff bottle.

Provenance: the glass snuff bottle, purchased from Bonhams New York, 22nd March, 2011, lot 141.
