QING DYNASTY/REPUBLIC PERIOD

Variously formed in gilt-metal and filigree, comprising: four hairpins depicting butterflies, insects and floral motifs, one elaborately constructed with designs of fish, butterflies, mythical beasts and auspicious symbols, one depicting two crickets, one formed as a beetle, and a gilt metal articulated fish pendant, variously embellished with strands of simulated pearls, pom poms, coloured stones and beads, one with a paper label for Jehanne de Biolley, Oriental Art, London, 25.8cm max.
