A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE SQUARE CUP AND AN IRON-RED AND GREEN ENAMELLED JAR

The twin handled cup decorated with alternate scenes of dragons emerging from the crashing waves and stylised flames, the ovoid jar painted with four cartouches containing large lotus blossoms, set against a geometric ground, all under a border of lotus scrolls, with a wood cover, 13.6cm and 13cm. Provenance: from a private collection, London, mostly acquired in the 1980s and 1990s.
