A CHINESE 'PHOENIX' EWER AND A CIZHOU 'LOTUS' PILLOW
POSSIBLY TANG AND SONG/JIN DYNASTY
The upper section of the tall pouring vessel covered in a creamy-white glaze, the spout modelled as a stylised bird and topped with a foliate cup; the pillow covered in an ivory-coloured slip incised with a lotus flower and leaves tied up with a ribbon, 34cm max. (2)
