A Chinese pale celadon jade pendant 18th/19th century, with two scrolling chilong dragons around a central disk, 7.8cm. Provenance: a private collection, London. Cf. Marchant, 85th Anniversary Exhibition of Chinese Jades from Tang to Qing, no.32 for a similar plaque. Another from the collection of Mr David R S Ezekiel is illustrated by Basil Gray, J Rawson in Chinese Jade Throughout the Ages, an exhibition organised by the Arts Council of Great Britain and the Oriental Ceramic Society, 1975, no.301.
