A rare pair of Chinese wucai vases Shunzhi 1644-1661, brightly decorated with scenes of dignitaries and their attendants in gardens, the rims with flowering, leafy branches, 26cm. (2) Provenance: an English private collection. Cf. 17th Century Jingdezhen Porcelain from the Shanghai Museum and the Butler Collections, no.58 for a related example in the Butler family collection.
