A RARE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE DEEP BELL-SHAPED BOWL

The exterior painted with a continuous scene of figures and boats in a mountainous river landscape with houses and pagodas, the inner well with a medallion enclosing a similar design below a band of cranes and lotus, 14.5cm dia.

Provenance: formerly in the collection of Dr Arthur Spriggs, purchased from Sidney Michael in 1963.
