A PAIR OF CHINESE DOUCAI 'POMEGRANATE' DISHES

SIX CHARACTER YONGZHENG MARKS AND OF THE PERIOD 1723-35

The rounded sides supported on slightly tapering feet, the centres painted with stylised leafy shrubs bearing ripe pomegranates, encircled by further pomegranates, grapes and plums, the undersides similarly decorated with fruiting sprays, 19.8cm. (2)
