A CHINESE RED OVERLAID GLASS SNUFF BOTTLE

1750-1795

The compressed ovoid body carved in shallow relief to one side with an egret stood at the water's edge beneath large lotus leaves and flowers, to the other with a whiskered fish basking at the surface amongst lotus and millet, all reserved on a snowflake ground, 6.6cm.
