SIX CHARACTER KANGXI MARK AND OF THE PERIOD 1662-1722

With a gently rounded rim, painted to the well with a green five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl of wisdom enclosed in a double green band, the exterior similarly decorated with two dragons chasing pearls between green bands against an anhua pattern of stylised waves and rocks, all raised on a short foot, 17.6cm.

Provenance: an English private collection, acquired in England in the 1980s.
