A LARGE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE SAUCER DISH

KANGXI 1662-1722

Painted with stylised lotus flowerheads and scrolling leaves encircled by a border of further flowers to the cavetto, the rim with a band of breaking waves, the reverse with a similar design, 37cm.

Provenance: a Hong Kong private collection, sold in these rooms on 15th July 2006, lot 632.
