A CHINESE BRONZED-COPPER TIBETAN-STYLE EWER AND COVER

LATE QING DYNASTY

The pear-shaped body cast with a ruyi-head shaped panel with clouds and bats around a central shou character, the spout and handle with dragon heads, the foot and the rim of the domed cover with a ruyi-head band, 34cm, 1.1kg. (2)

Provenance: a Hong Kong private collection, purchased from Nicholas Pitcher, London on 3rd May 2007.
