A CHINESE BRONZE ARCHAISTIC INCENSE BURNER AND COVER

The compressed circular body decorated with stylised birds and taotie masks on a diaper ground, with two chilong-shaped handles, the domed cover with a pierced decoration of feathery leaves and a lion dog finial, all raised on three mask-headed legs, a four character Xuande mark to the underside, 36cm, 6kg.
