A CHINESE GLAZED POTTERY MODEL OF A HORSE

TANG DYNASTY

Standing, with its head slightly turned, mounted with a saddle to its back, decorated with a chestnut and cream-coloured glaze, all raised on a rectangular base, 30cm.

Together with a copy of Thermoluminescence Analysis Report, sample no.C107n37, dated 22nd May 2007.

Provenance: a Hong Kong private collection, purchased from Nicholas Pitcher, London on 23rd July 2008.
