A CHINESE JADEITE BALUSTER VASE AND COVER AND A JADEITE 'BIRDS AND PEACHES' CARVING
19TH CENTURY AND REPUBLIC PERIOD
The vase decorated with horses and quails amidst various trees and flowers, with a lion dog-shaped finial to the cover, the carving formed as two large peaches surmounted by a pair of perching birds, with smaller fruits growing around them, the stone of each with pale lavender and green areas, each with a wood stand, 28cm and 14.5cm. (5)
