A CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE AND EN GRISAILLE MEDALLION BOWL

The exterior decorated with four roundels depicting figures in landscapes, the medallions alternating between en grisaille with iron-red and the famille rose palettes, all reserved on a yellow ground decorated with a repeating geometric design, the interior painted with flowers amidst scrolling foliage, the base glazed turquoise and with a six character Qianlong mark, 13.1cm.
Provenance: from an English private collection, acquired in London in the early 1970s.
