A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE 'BAXIAN' BOWL

TRANSITIONAL C.1640

The U-shaped body decorated with the Eight Immortals holding their attributes as Shoulao rides on a flying crane towards them, with stylised clouds dividing the scene, the well painted with a medallion enclosing a watery landscape, all supported on a gently tapering foot, the base with a ding mark, 20cm.
