The Asian Art II sale on 8th December will feature approximately 300 lots, including a selection of Chinese ceramics, paintings, jades, snuff bottles, and other works of art. The sale also features a number of Southeast Asian, Indian and Islamic items. Highlights include a Safavid Gombroon ware bowl purchased from E & H Manners in 1992 (lot 575) and plates from the collection at Fonthill House, one with an inscription reading ‘the collection of William Beckford Esq’ (lot 735).
Viewing in Salisbury will be by appointment between Thursday 3rd and Saturday 5th December. Please contact the department to make an appointment at aml@woolleyandwallis.co.uk
There will be no viewing on the morning of the sale.

Restricted Bidding
If you wish to bid at this auction you will need to register and provide proof of identity and of your address and provide photographic ID.
You may be asked to pay a deposit of £5,000.
Any deposit must be paid by debit card or bank transfer. Woolley and Wallis must have cleared funds no later than 5pm on Friday 4th December.
If you are not successful you will be refunded (without interest) within seven working days.
ONLINE BIDDERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO PAY A DEPOSIT OF £5,000.
THIS DEPOSIT WILL ALLOW THE ONLINE BIDDER TO BID UP TO A MAXIMUM OF £50,000 IN TOTAL AT THIS AUCTION ON THE-SALEROOM.COM.
