Provenance
From the family of Sir William Edward Parry, 1790 - 1855, Royal Navy officer and Arctic explorer.


A Haida argillite pipe donated to the British Museum (Am1926,0313.13) in 1926 by F Sidney Parry states to have been field collected by Sir William Edward Parry.
