An Etruscan bronze hand mirror
circa 3rd - 2nd century BC
engraved the Dioskouroi, Castor and Pollux, wearing tunics, phrygain caps and laced sandals, and leaning on pillars whilst flanking two female figures, one wearing a long chiton and a peaked helmet, Minerva, and the other nude with drapery between her thighs and wearing laced sandals, with a pediment behind, framed within a guillouche border, the handle with two opposing bird heads and a deer head terminal,
