A 19th century Tapa cloth, decorated with fine geometric designs, 307 x 176cm, with handwritten stitched label 'Tapa - Chiefs dress made of Papu Mulberry bark, S.S. Islands, Honbl. Mrs Hope, 78, Glen Park Gardens, S.W.,' and a smaller Tapa cloth, with seven alternate bands of fine decoration, 256 x 116cm, with similar hand written label. (2)
