A Stevens & Williams glass vase cut with circle and column bands, introduced 1938 remains of Brierley paper label 25cm. high The thick glass of this vase changes colour from green to blue depending on the angle it is viewed at. Stevens & Williams aptly described the effect as 'light blue and green rainbow cased inside' Literature British Glass Between the Wars, Dudley Leisure Services, page 47 catalogue number 335 for a comparable example.
