A rare gilt bronze mounted Art Nouveau vase by Charles Korschann (1872-1943), tapering rectangular section body glazed in mottled green glaze, with panel of an Art Nouveau child amongst flowers and strapwork, the reverse with Secessionist knot panel and foundry seal, on gilt bronze foot pierced with flower sprays seal Louchet Paris, base signed P.L, Alp 19cm. high Literature Decorative Arts from 1880 to the Present Day, 27th September 1989, Christie's King Street lot 163, illustrated page 89 and on the front cover for a comparable vase.
