Clarice Cliff, Art Deco & Design

The sale includes a good selection of ceramics, glass, works on paper, furniture and metal ware from the Art Deco period, with good examples of Rene Lalique and Monart glass, Clarice Cliff ceramics, original artwork by Dodo Burgner and Louis Icart and bronze sculptures by Josef Lorenzl, Ferdinand Preiss and Demetre Chiparus.

The sale concludes with a section of design (covering the late nineteenth century to the present day) with approximately 80 lots of studio pottery, including works by Lucie Rie, Hans Coper, John Ward, Lenci, Kate Malone, Ewen Henderson, Bernard Leach and Janet Leach.
