A rare Burmantofts Faience Barbotine vase by Harold Leach, model no.117, shouldered form with everted, fluted top rim, modelled in low relief and painted with an owl perched in a rocky landscape, the moon and classical buildings in the background, in colours on a blue ground, a pair decorated with a frog hunting insects, and another decorated with a bird catching a dragonfly, impressed marks, main vase restored neck, 25cm. high, (4).
