Edith Linnell used her knowledge of botany, picked up whilst training to become a portrait painter, to produce Art Nouveau jewels in the English Arts and Crafts tradition. she sold her work from Burlington Arcade and later from 184 Sloane Street whilst also exhibition at the Arlington Gallery. She also exhibited at the last exhibition of the Arts and Crafts Society.
