A John Pearson repousse copper wall charger probably made at the Guild of Handicrafts, dated 1890, the well decorated with four radiating phoenix, the rim with a frieze of fruiting vine, stamped J Pearson 1890, 267, 38.5cm. diam.

John Pearson was one of the four founding members of the Guild of Handicrafts (in 1888), it is recorded that he left the guild in 1892 which would suggest this charger was produced by Pearson whilst at the Guild of Handicrafts.
