This wardrobe is fitted with identical brass furniture to several early pieces of furniture designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh including a green stained Cypress dressing table manufactured by Guthrie & Wells in 1895 and purchased by William Davidson. It, and a wash stand also stained green with brass handles are held in the Glasgow School of Art collection.
