A rare Linthorpe Pottery vase designed by Dr Christopher Dresser, model no.249, ovoid on tapering foot with cylindrical neck, cast in low relief with Aztec roundel and geometric bands, glazed yellow, ochre and translucent sky blue lustre on an olive green ground, impressed factory marks, HT monogram and facsimile Dr Christopher Dresser signature, minor glaze frits to base rim, 24.5cm. high
